WHAT TO EXPECT
Welcome!
We are looking forward to meeting you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What time is worship?
Worship starts at 10am. Musically, our services are blended with both contemporary and traditional styles incorporating both organ, guitar and percussion. We worship in both the sanctuary and the Great Room depending on the week.

Where do I park?
Parking is available in the lot behind the church, accessible from the Burns Ave. entrance. Handicap spots are marked. You can also find street parking along Wyoming Ave., Burns Ave., and side streets
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in – jeans and sandals, or your Sunday Best.
We welcome you as you are.

What will my children do?
We love welcoming families and children! Children are always welcome to stay with you during the service. A little “joyful” noise and movement is a welcome reminder of God’s love. Worship Boxes are available, providing a variety of quiet activities while soaking in the words and music of worship. Please return boxes following worship. A quiet room is also available (on the main level between both worship spaces) for parents who may benefit from visiting this space with a young child during worship (livestream available). Diaper Changing Stations are located in the men’s and women’s restrooms in the Gathering Space as well as in the family bathroom in the gathering area of the lower level.
We also offer age-based faith formation during the worship service.
Nursery care is available, weekly, for babies through preschool age on our lower level. A short bible story will be shared and children will learn of God’s love through play in a safe and loving environment.
During the school year (September-May), Children in preschool through 4th grade participate in the first part of the worship service with their families. They are invited to the front for a Children’s Moment which is a brief message told through story and prayer. After the Children’s Moment, children can return to their seats to stay with their parents or can go with our faith formation team members to our Godly Play room for an opportunity to hear a story about God and explore how their stories are related to God’s story. Following worship, children are dismissed to their parents from the Godly Play room on the lower level. (For more info on Godly Play click here.) During the summer (June-August), we celebrate All-Together Worship while we take a break from Sunday School. Extended childcare for babies through early elementary age is available in our Nursery on the lower level anytime Sunday School is not offered.
If you have a preschool aged child and are unsure whether the nursery of Godly play will be the best fit for them, please reach out to Lisa Kaufer, our Director of Faith Formation, lisa@pcwyoming.org and she can help you figure out which environment may work better for them.
Youth in middle school or high school are encouraged to remain in worship with the congregation. Age specific faith formation for youth is offered Sunday evenings as part of our youth group program. If youth would like to help nurture our younger children in the nursery or Godly Play program, please contact our Director for Faith Formation, Lisa Kaufer, lisa@pcwyoming.org.
