Position Title:   Childcare Team Member (part-time, paid position)                        

 

Job Description:  Provides childcare and classroom leadership during Sunday morning worship services and other programs.  As a Childcare Team Member, you will provide parents and their children with a safe, healthy and inviting environment in which to grow and learn while allowing parents to experience worship and participate in the life and ministry of the church.

 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, other children, and surroundings.

• Implement and organize fun and engaging activities and games for children.  Utilize the curriculum to share age-appropriate Bible stories each week.

• Clean and maintain the Childcare rooms by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.

 

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old or older.

• Working toward or obtained a high school diploma or GED.

• One year of experience working with children preferred.

• A clean background check and drug screening
