Small Group Study/Fellowship

PCW’s small groups offer the opportunity for spiritual development and connection within our community of faith. Regularly scheduled, small group opportunities include, but are not limited to:

Adult Discipleship on Sundays 11:15 a.m. (Parlor) – contact Ed Hander/Bill Rusk

The Adult Discipleship group meets in PCW’s Parlor after worship on most Sundays. This group’s focus is typically a book or video study. Past studies have ranged from bible studies to more general Christian topics. All are welcome to attend, and engage in conversation, without the need for registration or pre-work.

Owen’s Study Group on Wednesdays 8:00 a.m. - contact Bill Morley/Bill Rusk

The Owen Study group is a men’s group that meets weekly via Zoom. In person attendance is offered on the first Wednesday of each month. This group is typically a book study of varied topics, such as spirituality, politics, and history, including discussion of how the reading impacts our understanding of faith.

Men’s Bible Study on Thursdays 7:00 a.m. (Founder's Room) - contact Ken Popham/Bill Rusk

The Men’s Bible Study group meets Thursday mornings at 7:00 a.m. in PCW’s Founder’s Room. This group typically picks a book of the Bible and then reads it together, one chapter at a time, followed by discussion.

Women’s Study on Thursdays 9:00 a.m. (Zoom) – contact Mary Jo Peairs

The Women’s Study group meets via Zoom on Thursdays 9a during the school year. This group typically dives into a Bible study in the fall followed by a book study in the Spring, related to some aspect of faith. The study approach is typically quite thorough.

The Journey Women's Group on 2nd Wednesday of each Month 7:00 p.m. (Parlor) – contact Christi Graeter

The Journey group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in PCW’s Parlor (and via Zoom upon request). This group is contemplative and experiential in focus. It typically begins with opening prayer and scripture reflection. Participants are then invited to check in with one another and offer prayers for shared concerns.

Additional opportunities are offered throughout the year focused on special events and topics. If you are interested in exploring development of a new, small group study/fellowship, please contact Christi Graeter.
